DeSCRiZiONe GeNeRaLe

Il controllore di linea PM2006-V gestisce e amministra le linee
altoparlanti e la selezione delle zone di diffusione; ogni unità è in
grado di controllare fino a 6 zone. La singola zona è composta da
due linee d'uscita (A & B): in questo modo, è possibile garantire
la copertura completa dell'area d'ascolto, anche nel caso in cui
alcuni altoparlanti si guastino. Il PM2006-V può essere configurato
principalmente in due modalità: con un singolo amplificatore (voce
e musica) o con due amplificatori (uno per gli annunci ed uno per
la musica). Quando richiesto, può essere inserito nel sistema anche
un amplificatore di riserva.

2. installazione
Tutti gli apparecchi PASO sono costruiti nel rispetto delle più
severe normative internazionali di sicurezza ed in ottemperanza ai
requisiti della Comunità Europea. Per un corretto ed efficace uso
dell'unità PM2006-V è importante prendere conoscenza di tutte
le caratteristiche leggendo attentamente le presenti istruzioni
ed in particolare le note di sicurezza. Durante il funzionamento
dell'apparecchio è necessario assicurare un'adeguata ventilazione.
Evitare di rac chiudere il PM2006-V in un mobile privo di aerazione
o di tenerlo in prossimità di sorgenti di calore. Assicurarsi che
tutti gli ingressi e le uscite siano correttamente collegati prima
dell'accensione. Questo apparecchio è predisposto per il montaggio
in mobile rack standard 19".

2.2 Note di sicurezza

La rimozione del coperchio dell'apparecchio presenta il rischio di
scosse elettriche. Ogni intervento all'interno dell'apparecchio deve
essere eseguito da personale specializzato. Prima di procedere
alla sostituzione dei fusibili, accertarsi di avere staccato il cavo di
rete e l'eventuale alimentazione secondaria. La sostituzione deve
essere effettuata con fusibili dello stesso tipo e valore.

GeNeRaL DeSCRiPtiON

The PM2006-V line controller manages and administers the
loudspeaker lines and selection of the broadcasting areas. Each
unit is capable of controlling up to 6 zones. A single zone is
made up of two output lines (A & B): in this way it is possible to
ensure full coverage of the whole listening area, even if some of
the loudspeakers fail. The PM2006-V can be configured mainly in
two different modes: with a single amplifier (voice and music) or
with two amplifiers (one for announcements and one for music).
If required, it is also possible to include a stand-by amplifier in
the system.

2. installation

All PASO equipment is manufactured according to the strictest
international safety standards and in conformity with European
Community requisites. In order to use the PM2006-V unit correctly
and effectively, it is necessary to be aware of all its characteristics
by reading these instruc tions carefully, particularly the safety
notes.
It is necessary to ensure adequate ventilation while the equipment
is working. Do not install it inside a cabinet without ventilation or
keep it in the vicinity of sources of heat. Before switching on the
equipment make sure that all the inputs and outputs are correctly
connected. This equipment has provisions for installation in a
standard 19" rack.

2.2 Safety notes

Removing the cover of the equipment entails the risk of electric
shocks. Only specialised personnel should carry out any activities
inside the equipment Before proceeding to replace the fuses,
make sure that the power cable has been disconnected from the
mains power supply and that secondary power supply, if any, is
also disconnected. The fuses must be replaced with others of the
same type and having the same rating.
