CHAPTER -3: USING YOUR FRIDGE FREEZER

Thermostat Setting

The thermostat automatically regulates the temperature inside the fridge and freezer compartments. To change the
temperature the knob can be rotated from position 1 to 5 (5 being the coldest).
Important note: Do not rotate beyond position 1 as this will stop your appliance working.
Freezer Thermostat Setting;
1 – 2 : For short-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set the knob
between minimum and medium position.
3 – 4 : For long-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set knob
medium position.
5 : For freezing fresh food set the knob to the maximum position (5) for a period of tie.
Once food is frozen, reset the temperature to the original position.
Refrigerator Thermostat Setting;
1 – 2 : For less cold
3 – 4 : For normal conditions.
5 – MAX : For maximum cooling

Warnings about Temperature Adjustments

• It is not recommended that you operate your fridge in environments colder than 10°C.
• Temperature adjustments should be made according to the frequency of door openings and the quantity of food
kept inside the fridge.
• Wait for any adjustments to be made before changing the setting again.
• Your fridge should be operated up to 24 hours without interruption after being plugged in so it is completely
cooled. Do not open the doors of your fridge and do not place food inside during this period.
• There is a five minute delay to function prevent damage to
the compressor of your fridge when you plug the appliance
in or when there is a power cut. Your fridge will start to
operate normally after 5 minutes.
• Your fridge is designed to operate in the ambient
temperature intervals stated in the standards, according
to the climate class stated in the information label. We
do not recommend operating your fridge out of stated
temperatures value limits in terms of cooling effectiveness.

Temperature indicator

In order to help you better set your refrigerator, we have equipped it with a temperature indicator located in
the coldest area.
Make sure the message "OK" appears on the temperature indicator. If « OK » does not appear, it means the
temperature is not set properly.
When altering the temperature make sure the temperature has stabilized before changing again.
NOTE: Opening and shutting the door may result in the the indication "OK" not appearing, this is normal. If
you open and shut the door on a regular basis it is better to turn the temperature indicator up.
Putting food in the coldest area of the refrigerator
Store foods in the the most in the appropriate cooling area. The coldest
air is above the salad crisper. Make sure the bottom of the shelf above the
salad crisper is aligned with the arrow head of the sticker. This ensures
that the temperature is correct in this area.
