Installing the Scale

§ Remove the fastening kits from their packaging (2
pit frame edges). Check the kits for completeness.
§ Drill the holes in the supports (d 10 mm); see the drawing and table on the previous
page for the required dimensions.
§ Install and fasten the anchors (threads at the upper end).
§ Position the fastening plates on the supports as specified on the previous page and
fasten them using the washers and nuts supplied.
§ Check the height of the weighing platform and the load plate.
The top of the load plate must be even with the top of the pit frame edges.
Use the leveling feet on the weighing platform to adjust the height.
§ If the weighing platform has a protruding level indicator, remove it before lowering the
platform into the pit.
§ Guide the connecting cable for the indicator/display and control unit through the
protective conduit.
§ Lower the platform into the pit.
Position the feet within the fastening plates.
§ Connect the indicator/display and control unit.
