Use of the picture-in-picture function

The picture-in picture function offers you the possibility of viewing a second picture source in addition to watching the TV
programme.
The second reception unit (tuner), DVD player or SAT receiver can be used as the picture source. These have to be connected
to the input jacks HDMI1 or HDMI2 on the rear side of the Plasma TV.

With the button on the remote control switch the
sound to mute.
S Press the button , the sound is now mute.
S Press the button again to cancel out mute again.
You can also use the button [VOL
Picture-in-Picture (PIP)

Press the [PIP] button on the remote control.
Split screen
S Press the [PIP] button on the remote control again.
The large and small pictures last selected can be
seen next to each other.
S Swap between the main and secondary picture
(picture-in-picture) with the button [
on the remote control or under the menu option
<Display ⇒ Quick swap
S To terminate the picture-in-picture function press
the [PIP] button on the remote control once or twice
or under menu option <Display ⇒ Layout> set

Press the button [i] on the remote control to display
the information about the main and secondary pic-
tures.

With the buttons [ ] / [ ] select a Secondray input

Without the OSD menu you can select a Secondary
input source by pressing the [TV] / [VIDEO] /
[SOURCE] / [F4] button.

If you have set picture-in-picture, you can alter the
size of the PIP picture.
S Menu option <PIP Horiz. Pos.>
If you have set picture-in-picture, you can alter the
horizontal position of the PIP picture.
S Menu option <PIP Vert. Pos.>
If you have set picture-in-picture, you can alter the
vertical position of the PIP picture.
