3) Press "ENTER" to send the request for enabling the playback function to the CP 3100 control unit. The "ENTER" LED (ref. 15 – Fig. 1,
page 132) and "CLEAR" LED (ref. 7 - Fig. 1, page 132) light up to confirm that the request has been sent. The audio signal playback re-
quest is placed in the "booking queue" of the control unit and will be carried out as soon as all the following conditions are satisfied:
• use of the control unit audio board by other users is terminated.
• no device with equal or higher priority has previously requested playback of an audio signal recorded on the control unit (request for
use of the audio board).
• all the audio zones selected are available.
The message below appears on the display, indicating that you must wait a few seconds while a check is made on the free/engaged sta-
tus of the resources necessary for carrying out the playback function.
Once the check has terminated, one of the following messages appears on the display:
a.
Indicates that all the zones (or groups of zones) of the current selection are engaged, and the request for audio signal playback is the-
refore waiting to be carried out; at the moment of the request, the control unit audio board was available. The LEDs of the numerical
keys corresponding to the previously selected zones (or groups of zones) flash.
b.
Indicates that only certain zones (or groups of zones) of the current selection are free and immediately available, and the request for au-
dio signal playback is therefore waiting to be carried out; at the moment of the request, the control unit audio board was available. The
LEDs of the numerical keys corresponding to the zones (or groups of zones) available are on continuously, and the LEDs of the numerical
keys corresponding to the engaged zones (or groups of zones) flash.
c.
Indicates that the audio board is engaged, and the request for audio signal playback is waiting to be carried out. The status of the LEDs
associated to the previously selected numerical keys shows the free/engaged status of the zones/groups of zones. The LEDs of the nu-
merical keys corresponding to the unusable zones (or groups of zones) flash, and the LEDs of the numerical keys corresponding to the
available zones (or groups of zones) are on continuously.
d.
Indicates that all the previously selected zones (or groups of zones) are free and available, and the request for audio signal playback is
waiting to be carried out; at the moment of the request, the control unit audio board was available. The LEDs of the numerical keys cor-
responding to the selected zones (or groups of zones) are on continuously.
e.
Indicates that audio signal playback is in progress in the zones and/or groups of zones selected (LEDs of the numerical keys on conti-
nuously). At the end of playback, all the selected zones and/or groups of zones are disconnected from the console, and all the selections
are reset. The LEDs of the zone/group selection keys go off, along with the "ENTER" and "CLEAR" LEDs and the LED corresponding to
the function key selected. The message preceding the selection reappears on the display (e.g. "COMMUNICATION ON").
f.
Indicates that one or more zones (or groups of zones) of the current selection cannot be used due to a fault on a device of the system,
which is also indicated by the "REMOTE FAULT" LED. Message playback cannot be carried out.
