INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
STEAM IRONING
• Set the temperature selector (5) to its maximum position (MAX) by turning it clockwise.
• Before filling the tank with water, set the adjustable steam knob (3) to the off position "0".
• To fill the tank, always do so with the iron unplugged from the mains. Open the filling lid (7) by
inserting the fingers into the cavities placed at the ends and pour water into the tank using the
cup provided.
• Do not go over the MAX indication of the tank (8).
• Close the lid and press it to leave it correctly closed.
• Plug the iron into the mains. The indicator (6) will light on.
• Once the pilot light (6) goes off, turn the steam knob (3) between the minimum steam (
medium steam ( ) until getting the desired amount of steam.
SUPER STEAM
• The temperature selector (5) must always be set to its maximum position (MAX).
• Press and release the button (2). Repeat this operation at intervals between each time you press
the button.
• If you wish to obtain a greater super-steam set the steam control knob (3) to the off "0" position.
VERTICAL IRONING
• It allows you to remove creases from the garments without them having to be lying on the ironing
board: jackets and coats may be pressed on their hangers; as may be hanging curtains and such.
• Close the adjustable steam knob (3) and place the temperature selector to the (MAX). position.
• Bring the iron close to the garment in a vertical position and press the steam button (2).
SPRAY IRONING
• To obtain a spray, the temperature selector (5) position is unimportant.
• Press the spray button (1). In case no water should come out, press the button again.
DRY IRONING
• If there is water in the tank, set the adjustable steam knob (3) to the off position "0".
• Plug the iron into the mains and place the selector (5) in the desired temperature for each fabric:

SEDA – LANA : SILK – WOOL:
ALGODÓN – LINO : COTTON – LINEN: High temperature (•••-MAX)
AUTO-CLEANING SYSTEM
• Set the adjustable steam knob (3) to the off position "0".
• Pour water into the tank.
• Set the temperature selector (5) to MAX position and plug the iron to the mains.
• As soon as the pilot light (6) goes off, place the iron in a horizontal position on a dish, or suitable
container, into the sink and turn the steam knob (3) to the auto cleaning position (
moment the steam and drops of water will begin to flow from the orifices in the base of the iron
draining the dirt and particles.
• Once finished with the auto-cleaning process, place again the steam knob (3) in the closed position
"0". Don't forget to fix it again, if not the steam iron will loose water from the sole plate when
functioning again.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Before you proceed to cleaning the appliance ensure the appliance is unplugged from the mains.
• The sole plate can be cleaned with a cloth soaked with vinegar. This whole operation is more
easily carried out when the sole plate is warm.
• The exterior parts of the iron may be cleaned with a slightly dampened cloth.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the surfaces
of the appliance.
• To store the iron, ensure there is no water left in the tank, set the steam control to the off position
and always store in a vertical position.
