To switch between the autofocus mode and the manual focus
mode
Autofocus mode
This adjusts the focus automatically. Use this mode when a
subject moves frequently.
Manual focus mode
This adjusts the focus manually.
Notes
• The autofocus may be harder to focus on a subject that is
single colored or includes horizontal stripes.
• The motor for focus adjustment is always working in
autofocus mode. This causes deterioration of the motor. So,
the autofocus mode will be canceled after an hour to protect
the motor.

lamp
Press the FOCUS MANUAL/AUTO button repeatedly.
Each time you press the button, the focus mode is switched
between the autofocus mode and the manual focus mode.
When the FOCUS AUTO lamp is lit, the autofocus mode is
selected and when the lamp is not lit, the manual focus mode is
selected.
