Selecting the Shutter Speed

You can select the shutter speed from among three modes.
Depending on the mode you select, you can prevent the flicker
from occurring, or shoot a dark picture.

Press the CAMERA SHUTTER button repeatedly. Each time
you press the button, the shutter speed mode changes as
follows (Each lamp lights up according to the selected mode):
DARK: Selects when shooting under dark conditions.
NORMAL: Normally, use this mode.
FLICKERLESS: Selects when the screen flickers. This
mode sets the shutter speed to 1/100 second to prevent the
flicker from occurring.
Notes
• The DARK mode is not suitable for a moving picture because
video signal generation is slower than normal.
• The DARK mode takes time to achieve focus in autofocus
mode.
