Note: The bottles/bowls are warming though their immersion in water.
The final temperature of the content depends on the size, material (plastic or glass), type and quantity
of the liquid. Do not put too much water in the device and do not warm the food for too long time. If
you use too much water, the bottle will heat too much. Using too much water can damage the device.
ATTENTION: Before feeding the baby, shake the content in the bottle/bowl and ALWAYS check is it
the correct temperature. (about 37 degrees). For checking this, pour some drops from food in the
inner side of your hand. Never increase the temperature of 37 degrees.
ATTENTION: The electric warmer produces hot steam. Do not hold and do not put your hands close
to the product, while it works, to avoid risk from burning.
GUIDELINES FOR MAINTANCE AND CLEANING OF THE BOTTLE WARMER
A. CLEANING:
1. Before starting cleaning the product, please, turn off the power switch, unplug the electrical cable
from the power outlet and from the unit and leave it to cool down.
2. Take the feeding bowl and wipe inside and outside the product only with damp cloth.
3. Do not use strong detergents for cleaning the product – bleach, alcohol – based ones and such
with abrasive parts.
4. We recommend you to use pre-boiled or filtered water in order to reduce the risk of lime scale
deposition.
B. DESCALING:
1. You should descale the Electric and Baby Food Warmer every four weeks to ensure that the unit
will continue working 100% effectively.
2. OR: Mix one sachet of citric acid (10g) with 200 ml/7 oz water. Pour the solution in the warmer.
Plug the electric cable in the unit and in the power outlet, then turn the knob into the third setting and
heat for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes turn off the appliance and leave the water for 30 minutes. Pour
out the solution away and rinse the warmer with tap water. Citric acid is available from most chemists.
3. OR: Pour 50ml/2 oz vinegar (white) mixed with 100ml/ 4 oz cold water into the warmer. Leave the
solution in the unit until the lime scale dissolves. After than pour out the solution and rinse the product
thoroughly.
