2. Safety Instructions
● This device can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the device in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision. ● For indoor use only. Keep
this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and
dripping liquids. ● Keep well-ventilated: this device may
heat up during use. ● Warning! Handle batteries with care.
Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations.
Keep batteries away from children.
3. General Guidelines
● Refer to the Velleman ® Service and Quality Warranty on
www.velleman.eu. ● Protect this device from shocks and
abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
● Keep this device away from dust and extreme heat.
● Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device
before actually using it. ● All modifications of the device
are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user
modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
● Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the
device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
● Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this
manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will
not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or
problems.
4. Operation
● Insert the batteries (Ni-MH only!) in the charger (see
illustration).
Only charge 2 or
simultaneously, the charger will not
work with 1 or 3 batteries inserted. Only
charge batteries of the same type with
the same capacity simultaneously. Do
not attempt to charge
rechargeable batteries!
● Plug the charger into a suitable mains outlet. ● During
charging, the status LED will be red. ● In case damaged
batteries are detected, the charging LED will start flashing
rapidly. Remove and dispose of bad batteries in the
appropriate way. ● When batteries are fully charged, the
status LED turns off. Do not leave charged batteries inside
charger for more than 24 hours or when charger is not
plugged into the mains. ● The charger will stop charging
automatically after 8 hours. ● To use as the USB output
port, remove all batteries. The USB LED will turn green.
The load on the USB output may not exceed 500 mA.

5. Maintenance
● Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking
new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or
strong detergents.

2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
● Dit toestel is geschikt voor gebruik door kinderen vanaf

verstandelijke beperkingen, of door personen met gebrek
aan ervaring en kennis, op voorwaarde dat dit onder
toezicht gebeurt van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is
voor hun veiligheid of hun aanwijzingen heeft gegeven,
hoe zij het toestel moeten gebruiken en zich bewust zijn
van de risico's die het gebruik van het toestel met zich
meebrengt. Kinderen mogen niet met het toestel spelen.

het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken. ● Om
veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen.

4. Gebruik
● Plaats de batterijen (enkel NiMH!) in de lader. Plaats de
batterijen zoals afgebeeld.
Laad enkel 2 of 4 batterijen simultaan.
De lader werkt niet met 1 of 3
batterijen. Laad enkel batterijen van
eenzelfde type en vermogen. Laad
geen alkalinebatterijen!
● Steek deze batterijlader in een geschikt stopcontact.
● Tijdens het laden licht de statusled rood op. ● Bij een
beschadigde batterij zal de led snel beginnen te knipperen.
Verwijder de beschadigde batterij en gooi ze weg volgens
de plaatselijke milieuwetgeving. ● Van zodra de batterijen
geladen zijn, dooft de statusled. Laat geen geladen
batterijen gedurende meer dan 24 uur in de lader zitten
wanneer deze niet aan het lichtnet gekoppeld is. ● Na 8
uur laden slaat deze lader automatisch af. ● Verwijder alle
batterijen uit de lader indien u de USB-uitgang wilt
gebruiken. De USB-led licht groen op. De belasting op de
USB-uitgang mag niet meer dan 500 mA bedragen.

5. Onderhoud
● Reinig het toestel af en toe met een vochtige doek.
Gebruik geen bijtende chemische
reinigingsmiddelen of sterke detergenten.
