(See Figures 3 and 4)
a) Remove the manifold suction tubing from the specimen trap and the white cap from the patient
port.
b) Reconnect the manifold suction tubing to the patient port. To seal the specimen in the trap,
reconnect the white cap to the specimen trap port.
c) Gently remove the specimen trap from the pour spout and place it into a hospital- provided
specimen collection transport container.
d) Replace the pour spout cap on the pour spout of the disposable liner.

Do not reprocess or re-use.
