CUTTING
• Put front part of the footplate (5) flat on the material that you plan
to cut.
• Adjust working speed to properties of processed material.
• Switch on the saw and wait until it reaches full rotational speed
at current setting.
• Move the saw slowly and guide the blade along previously set
cutting line (fig. C).
Cut at a steady rate, be careful not to overload the saw. Excessive
pressure applied on the blade will suppress operation and will affect
cutting efficiency unfavourably.
During operation whole surface of the footplate should contact
surface of the processed material.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug the power cord from the mains socket before commencing
any activities related to installation, adjustment, repair or
maintenance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Cleaning the device after each use is recommended.
• Do not use water or any other liquid for cleaning.
• Clean the reciprocating saw with a dry cloth or blow with
compressed air at low pressure. Do not use any cleaning agents or
solvents, they may damage plastic parts.
• Clean ventilation holes in the motor casing regularly to prevent
device overheating.
• In case of excessive commutator sparking, have the technical
condition of carbon brushes of the motor checked by a qualified
person.
• Store the reciprocating saw in a dry place, beyond reach of
children.
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Replace immediately worn out (shorter than 5 mm), burnt or
cracked motor carbon brushes. Always replace both carbon
brushes at a time.
Entrust replacement of carbon brushes only to a qualified person.
Only original parts should be used.
All faults should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the
manufacturer.

DETAILLIERTE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN

• Beim Sägen verwenden Sie immer Staubmasken, um die
Atmungswege gegen den beim Sägen entstehenden Staub zu
schützen.
• Vor dem Arbeitsbeginn überprüfen Sie sorgfältig das zu
bearbeitende Material, um das Durchsägen von Nageln, Schreiben
und anderen harten Gegenständen zu vermeiden.
• Sägen Sie kein Material durch, dessen Abmessungen (Stärke) die in den
technischen Daten angegebenen Maße überschreiten.
• Vor dem Arbeitsbeginn überprüfen Sie, dass es unter dem
zu bearbeitenden Material ausreichend Platz gibt, um den
Arbeitstisch, Fußboden nicht zu beschädigen.
• Die Motorstichsäge ist mit beiden Händen festzuhalten.
• Vor dem Betätigen des Hauptschalters prüfen Sie nach, ob die
Motorstichsäge das Material nicht berührt.
• Greifen Sie mit Ihrer Hand nach keinen rotierenden Elementen.
• Vor dem Durchsägen von Fußböden, Wänden oder anderen
Materialien überprüfen Sie, ob sie keine elektrischen Leitungen
enthalten.
• Legen Sie die Motorstichsäge nicht ab, wenn sie noch in
Bewegung ist. Schalten Sie die Motorstichsäge nicht ein, bevor Sie
sie mit der Hand nicht festhalten.
• Um das Sägeblatt herauszunehmen, schalten Sie vorher die
Motorstichsäge mit dem Hauptschalter aus und warten Sie ab,
bis das Sägeblatt zum Stillstand kommt. Anschließend ist die
Motorstichsäge von der Netzversorgung zu trennen.
• Berühren Sie das Sägeblatt und das bearbeitete Material nicht
unmittelbar nach der beendeten Arbeit. Diese Elemente können
stark erhitzt werden und Verbrennung verursachen.
• Falls Sie ein untypisches Verhalten oder nicht normale Geräusche
des Elektrowerkzeugs feststellen, schalten Sie es sofort aus und
trennen Sie den Stecker von der Steckdose.
• Um ausreichende Kühlung des Gerätes zu gewährleisten,
sorgen Sie dafür, dass die Lüftungsöffnungen im Gehäuse der
Motorstichsäge frei bleiben.
ACHTUNG! Das Gerät ist für den Betrieb in Innenräumen
bestimmt.
Trotz dem Einsatz einer
Sicherheitseinrichtungen und zusätzlichen Schutzeinrichtungen
besteht stets das Restrisiko einer Verletzung beim Betrieb des
Gerätes.
