• Momentary stop: The machine is stopped merely for checking purposes, or to add or take
away items cleaned. In this case you merely press the Start/Stop button (A) when the cycle is
running. To continue the cycle press the Start/Stop button again.
• Cycle cancellation: If you want to completely cancel a cycle, keep the Start/Stop button
depressed for 3/5 seconds. The control will then emit an acoustic signal and return to Stand-by
mode.

9. Take the basket out of the tank. If required, place the items in the basket under a jet of water to rinse
them.
When operating, the machine heats the cleaning solution in the tank. It must be taken into account that the
electrical power supplied by the ultrasonic transducers is transmitted entirely to the cleaning solution, and
this produces a warming effect. In any case, liquid temperature should never exceed 70/80 ºC. When
operating with lid (E), the warming effect is greater than during operations carried out without the lid.
CLEANING SOLUTIONS
Cleaning solutions can be classified into two types: those with water as the basic element and cleaning
solution, and solvents.
The most common cleaning method is with water, as it has an acceptable capacity to dissolve inorganic
substances. However, it is extremely limited in dissolving organic substances. For this type of compound,
water is a good medium for the dispersion of waste particles, and a good support for specific detergents
which dissolve organic substances.
In most cases a mixture of water and domestic washing up liquid can be used as a cleaning solution.
Nevertheless, when the quantity or nature of dirt is resistant to this type of cleaning solutions, specific
solvents for ultrasonic baths have to be used. Under no circumstances should inflammable solvents or
environmentally unfriendly products be used.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

In order to ensure optimum performance and reliability of the unit, we recommend the following:
Do not overload the tank with objects to be cleaned. This makes the bath less efficient, and can
•
damage the unit.
Do not place very heavy or large objects in the bottom of the tank, if this can be avoided.
•
Never allow the cleaning solution to reach levels less than 10 cm from the bottom of the tank.
•
Use chemical cleaning products compatible with the objects to be treated. Avoid corrosive solvents.
•
When items (especially valuable items) are being cleaned for the first time, carry out a trial run first
•
with just one item. Ask the manufacturer which cleaning solution is recommended.
During normal operation the bath and the base of the machine can heat up considerably. Values below
•
70/80 ºC are completely normal, and can be reached after long continuous operation with the lid on. If
you wish to reduce the temperature, take off the lid and leave the machine for a few minutes before
starting a new cycle.
After using the bath, clean the tank and the external body with a cloth moistened in soapy water.
•
Always unplug the unit before cleaning it.
The machine has a security sensor which disconnects it from the mains in the event of overheating, or
•
operation without cleaning liquid. If the sensor activates, disconnect the unit from the mains and allow
it to cool down for at least an hour before using it again.
It is advisable to clean the waste pipe filter inside the tank on a regular basis.

Do not start the unit when the tank is empty.
