4.3 Bedienung
1) Vor dem Einschalten den Regler MASTER (7)

ganz nach links auf Null drehen, um Einschalt-
geräusche zu vermeiden.

2) Bei Netzbetrieb das Gerät mit dem Schalter
„230 V~" (18) einschalten bzw. bei 12-V-Betrieb
mit dem Schalter „12 V " (16). Als Betriebsan-
zeige leuchten die beiden linken roten Segmente
der Pegelanzeige (5).
3) Alle angeschlossenen Geräte und ggf. das Funk-
mikrofon einschalten.
4) Den Kanal, der am lautesten zu hören sein soll,
mit dem zugehörigen Pegelregler (1 – 4, Funkmi-
krofon = Regler WIRELESS) so aussteuern, dass
bei den lautesten Stellen das ganz rechte Seg-
ment der Pegelanzeige (5) kurz aufleuchtet.
Für den Kanal AUX ist ein Abschwächschalter
(13) vorhanden. Bei einem schwachen Ein-
gangssignal den Schalter in die Position 1 schie-
ben. Treten Verzerrungen auf oder reagiert der
Regler AUX (3) zu empfindlich, den Schalter in
eine der Positionen 2 – 4 stellen.
5) Die Lautstärke der Tonsäule mit dem Regler
MASTER (7) einstellen.
6) Die anderen Kanäle mit den entsprechenden
Pegelreglern (1 – 4) dazumischen oder nach
Bedarf ein- und ausblenden. Die Regler der nicht
benutzten Kanäle stets auf Null stellen.
7) Den Klang mit dem Regler (6) optimal einstellen.
4.3 Operation
GB
1) Prior to switching on turn the control MASTER (7)
fully to the left stop to zero to prevent switching-
on noise.
2) With mains operation, switch on the unit with the
switch "230 V~" (18) or with 12 V operation with
the switch "12 V " (16). The two left red seg-
ments of the level indication (5) light up as a
power indication.
3) Switch on all connected units and, if necessary,
the wireless microphone.
4) Control the level of the channel to be heard at the
highest volume with the corresponding level con-
trol (1 – 4, wireless microphone = control WIRE-
LESS) so that the segment which is fully at the
right of the level indication (5) shortly lights up
with music peaks.
For the channel AUX an attenuator switch (13)
is provided. With a poor input signal slide the
switch to position 1. If distortions occur or if the
level AUX (3) reacts too sensitively, set the switch
to one of the positions 2 – 4.
5) Adjust the volume of the audio column with the
control MASTER (7).
6) Add the other channels with the corresponding
level controls (1 – 4) or fade them in and out as
desired. Always set the controls of the channels
not used to zero.

8) Wenn bei einer Mikrofondurchsage über das
Funkmikrofon oder über den Kanal INPUT 1 die
Kanäle INPUT 2 und AUX automatisch stumm
geschaltet werden sollen (Vorrangschaltung),
den Schalter MUTE (9) in die Position ON stellen.
Sollen jedoch alle Kanäle miteinander gemischt
werden, den Schalter MUTE in die Position OFF
stellen.
Falls bei eingeschalteter Vorrangschaltung
die Ansprechzeit zu kurz oder zu lang ist, kann
sie mit dem Regler MUTE ADJ (21) verändert
werden. Dazu die Abdeckung (22) auf der Gerä-
teunterseite abschrauben.
9) Nach dem Betrieb die Lautsprechersäule mit
dem Schalter „230 V~" bzw. „12 V " ausschalten
und bei Verwendung eines Funkmikrofons nicht
vergessen, auch dieses auszuschalten, sonst
sind bei dem nächsten Betrieb dessen Batterien
verbraucht.
Hinweise
1. Falls kein Signal vom Funkmikrofon empfangen
wird, die Batterie des Mikrofons überprüfen oder
den Abstand zwischen Tonsäule und Mikrofon
verringern. Die Reichweite beträgt max. 30 m.
2. Ein schlechter Empfang kann eventuell verbes-
sert werden, durch:
a) Schwenken der Antenne (14)
b) Drehen der Lautsprechersäule
c) Verschieben der Lautsprechersäule

7) Adjust the sound with the control (6) in an opti-
mum way.
8) To mute the channels INPUT 2 and AUX automa-
tically in case of a microphone announcement via
the wireless microphone or via the channel
INPUT 1 (priority circuit), set the switch MUTE (9)
to position ON. However, to mix all channels with
each other, set the switch MUTE to position OFF.
If the response time is too short or too long
with activated priority circuit, it is possible to
change it with the control MUTE ADJ (21). For
this purpose screw off the cover (22) on the lower
side of the unit.
9) After operation switch off the audio column with
the switch "230 V~" or "12 V " and when using a
wireless microphone remember to switch it off as
well, otherwise its batteries will be exhausted the
next time the microphone is used.
Notes
1. If no signal is received by the wireless micro-
phone, check the battery of the microphone or
reduce the distance between audio column and
microphone. The range is 30 m as a maximum.
2. A poor reception can possibly be improved by:
a) moving the antenna (14)
b) turning the audio column
c) displacing the audio column
