Using the Cut Line Indicator
1. Cut line indicator controls lengths ±1/64" (Figure 9)

2. Indicator will control workpiece mounted in machine. To
control length on cutoff work piece, add 1/16" to
length.
SECTION VI

The TC 4.5 has been designed to minimize maintenance. Clean and
inspect moving parts regularly for wear. Check power cord peri-
odically for damage or wear. Replace if cracked or damaged.

Replace blades at first sign of wear.
CAUTION: Worn cutting blades
are susceptible to slippage and
could cause serious injury.

To use indicator, mark workpiece with length.

Place workpiece in vise move until mark is visible in indi-
cator window.
5.
Rotate vise handle clockwise - do not secure.
6.
Loosen indicator knob on front of machine.
7.
Slide indicator close to workpiece without touching.
8.
Secure indicator knob.
9.
With workpiece loose in vise, move workpiece to line up
mark with indicator point.
10. When alignment is acceptable, secure workpiece in vise.
11. Loosen indicator knob, retract indicator, retension knob.

Machine Storage
1.
To store machine in storage case, rotate cutter gear box
clockwise 180°. Place machine into case.
