3 – BASIC SAFETY
WARNING: HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION
To avoid damaging your device, accessories or any connected devices, and
to reduce the risk of personal injury, discomfort, property damage or other
potential hazards, follow the precautions below: Handle your Jacquard Tag
with care.
Do not drop or subject the cell or battery to strong mechanical shock.You
may damage Jacquard Tag or the battery if you puncture, burn, deform,
crush, drop, modify, attempt to insert foreign objects into or disassemble
them.Using a damaged Jacquard Tag may cause battery overheating or
injury.
If the Jacquard Tag gets wet, do not attempt to dry it using an external
heat source. The Jacquard Tag is designed to work best in ambient
temperatures between 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C), and should be stored
between ambient temperatures of -4° and 113° F (-20° and 45° C).Do not
expose the Jacquard Tag to temperatures above 113° F (45° C), such as
on a car dashboard or near a heating vent as this may damage the product,
overheat the battery, or pose a risk of fire. Failure to observe this precaution
may result in an explosion/disassembly.
Keep your Jacquard Tag away from heat sources and avoid prolonged
exposure to direct sunlight. If the Jacquard Tag becomes too hot,
disconnect it from its power source if it is plugged in, move it to a cooler
place and don't use it until it has cooled.
