4. Installation

The module must only be connected to
SELV or SELV-E circuits.

Switch off the power supply to the CIU 902
or CU 362 before fitting the CIM module.
Warning
Avoid electrostatic discharge (ESD) when
fitting the CIM module, for instance by
using an ESD protection kit, product
number 96884939.
The CIM module must be installed by

When installed in a metal cabinet, it might

be necessary to fit an external antenna on
the module.

4.1 Fitting the CIM 060 into a CIU 902 box

• Click the CIM 060 on the top right corner of the
CIU box. See fig. 2

If the product is to be connected to a GSM network,
connect the CIU 902 to a CIU 250 unit via GENIbus.
See fig. 3.
