1 Betriebsanzeige POWER
2 Taste AUTO zum Umschalten des Gerätes auf
automatischen Vollbild-Umschaltbetrieb
Bei erneutem Drücken der Taste wird der auto-
matische Umschaltbetrieb ausgeschaltet und das
momentane Kamerabild als Dauerbild auf dem
Monitor angezeigt.

quential operation is switched off and the present
camera picture is shown as a permanent picture
on the screen.

For switching on/off, keep the button pressed for
at least 2 seconds.

Press the button for at least 2 seconds in order to
activate/deactivate the locking function.

7 BNC input jacks 1-4 for connecting the cameras

corder resp. a second monitor for continuous re-
cording or display of all camera pictures in quad
splitter operation only (independent of the select-

dwell time per camera picture (1-15 seconds) in
the automatic sequential operation
12 Selector switch ALARM RESET for adjusting the
alarm duration (10 seconds to infinity) if the alarm
is activated via connected alarm sensors (see
chapter 5.3 "Adjusting the alarm duration")

beiliegenden Steckernetzgerätes oder einer an-
deren Stromversorgung mit 12 V , Strombela-
stung 300 mA
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Der Quad-Prozessor und das Steckernetzgerät ent-
sprechen der Richtlinie 89/336/EWG für elektroma-
gnetische Verträglichkeit. Das Steckernetzgerät
entspricht zusätzlich der Niederspannungsrichtlinie
73/23/EWG.
Das Steckernetzgerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher
Netzspannung (230 V~) versorgt. Nehmen Sie
deshalb niemals selbst Eingriffe im Steckernetz-
gerät vor. Durch unsachgemäßes Vorgehen be-
steht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages.
Außerdem erlischt beim Öffnen des Steckernetz-
gerätes oder des Quad-Prozessors jeglicher Ga-
rantieanspruch.
Beachten Sie für den Betrieb auch unbedingt die fol-
genden Punkte:
•
Der Quad-Prozessor und das Steckernetzgerät
sind nur zur Verwendung in Innenräumen geeignet.
•
Schützen Sie den Quad-Prozessor und das Stek-
kernetzgerät vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger
Einsatztemperaturbereich 0-40 °C).
•
Die im Quad-Prozessor entstehende Wärme muß
durch Luftzirkulation abgegeben werden. Darum
dürfen die Lüftungslöcher des Gehäuses nicht mit
irgendwelchen Gegenständen abgedeckt werden.
•
Den Quad-Prozessor nicht in Betrieb nehmen, und
das Steckernetzgerät sofort aus der Steckdose
ziehen, wenn:

supplied AC/DC adaptor or another power supply

2 Safety Notes
The quad processor and the AC/DC adaptor corres-
pond to the directive for electromagnetic compatibility
89/336/ EEC. The AC/DC adaptor additionally corres-
ponds to the low voltage directive 73/23/ EEC.
The AC/DC adaptor uses dangerous mains volt-
age (230 V~). To prevent a shock hazard, do not
open the cabinet. Leave servicing to authorized
skilled personnel only. Besides, any guarantee
claim expires if the AC/DC adaptor or the quad
processor has been opened.
For the operation also watch in any case the follow-
ing items:
•
The quad processor and the AC/DC adaptor are
only suitable for indoor use.
•
Protect the quad processor and the AC/DC adap-
tor against humidity and heat (permissible operat-
ing temperature range 0-40 °C).
•
The heat being generated in the quad processor
has to be removed via air circulation. Thus, the cir-
culation vents of the housing must not be covered
at any time.
•
Do not take the quad processor into operation and
immediately take the AC/DC adaptor out of the
mains socket if:
1. damage at the quad processor or AC/DC
adaptor can be seen,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or
similar accident,
3. there are malfunctions.
The quad processor resp. the AC/DC adaptor must
in any case be repaired by authorized skilled per-
sonnel.
