Cleaning
Unplug the mill before cleaning.
Neither immerses the machine into water nor use running water for cleaning.
It is absolutely sufficient to wipe the outside of mill clean with a dry cloth. Do not use any abrasive deter-
gents.
If you do not use the mill regularly, you should clean the stones and wheels before each new operation.
Cleaning may also be necessary if the stones are blocked due to the usage of damp grains
Quick cleaning
For getting the pores free of the stones, just mill a handful of brown rice or wheat with intermediate setting.

Thorough cleaning

Please pull the plug first
The setting for the mill must be adjusted to "coarse"
Push back the funnel plate with funnel and pull it out
Pull out flaking shaft (made of wood)
Detach the stainless steel grinding chamber by depressing and turning to the right
Both millstones can now be cleaned with a hard brush (which must never be wet or moist)
You can remove the flour by a vacuum cleaner
Take of the flaking-cover (black) and clean the wheels
Place the flaking-cover back on the wheels.
Place the milling chamber with its nose above the flour sprout and lock by pressing down and turning to
the left.
Attach the funnel plate and the flaking shaft and slide to the front.
Malfunction
If the motor is overheated or comes to a standstill owing to extreme operation or improper use, a built-in
thermal protection switch will prevent the motor from overloading. Please switch off the mill immediately
and do not switch it on again before 10 to 15 minutes have elapsed.
