Dear Customer,
Congratulations on the purchase of your new high-quality Vario mill. When developing this
multipurpose product, we primarily aimed at improving its technical functionality in line with
the design. This was helped greatly by our thirty years of experience we have in the field of
grain mills for household use.
Before using this machine, please read through the following recommendations carefully and
keep these instructions for use at hand.

Products to be milled and milling capacity
This Vario mill is suited for grinding all types of grain, all sizes of wheat and smaller ones as well as corn
(no popcorn, however). Oleiferous seeds should not be grinded alone! Oilseeds can be milled fine, if you
mix, f. ex. 500g wheat and one teaspoon oilseeds.
Using dry grain, the milling capacity is as follows: 110 g/min in the case of fine adjustment, 300 g/min at the
case of coarse adjustment.
Please only use cleaned cereals. Uncleaned cereals can include small stones that can damage the grinder
of mill. The milling stones will get sticky when you use wet grain.
Grains to be pressed and pressing capacity
You can press all kinds of grain with your Vario mill with the exception of corn and similar big grains.
Please note the following recommendations:
Oat is the most commonly used grain and can be effortlessly pressed without any further treatment owing
to its soft edges.
For getting nicer flakes (or stick together better), you should moisten the wished quantity in a sieve with
water and dry it for 5 hours.
Lin- and oilseeds can be squeezed. Pumpkinseeds can not, they are to big.
The flake unit should not be used longer than 8 minutes in a row since otherwise overheating could occur.
