Safety instructions

1. Please read through these instructions carefully.
2. Connect the mill to alternating current only and verify that the existing mains voltage is identical
to the mains voltage indicated on the base plate of the mill.
3. Do not use the mill in connection with running water or other liquids.
4. Do not place the mill and its connecting cable in the vicinity of hot objects.
5.
Place the mill on a hard and flat surface during operation (kitchen tabletop).
6. Keep the ventilation slots unobstructed.
7. Do not clean the mill by inserting pointed objects into the milling chamber.
8. If the connecting line of the mill is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by the after
sales service or a similar qualified person.
Short info
You can also use the funnel as a measuring bowl. For this option you must take the funnel of from funnel
plate and lock up throughput opening. Place it on scale for filling in and weighing cereals.
The included round wooden plate is for protecting the mill from foreign particles. If the funnel is stowed,
just put the funnelplate cover in the existing gap of woodplate.

Operation

Place the Vario mill on a solid and flat tabletop so that it has a firm standing and then insert the plug into the
socket. the mill is now ready to be started.
Press in button on funnel so that throughput opening is locked. Turn funnel to your wished position.
If button shows to
front, you have chosen the grinding setting
back, you have chosen the flaking setting
Fill the required quantity of grain into the wooden or metal funnel.
Operate the on/off switch on the left-hand side of the mill. You can see the milling- or flaking adjustment by
the pictograms indicated on switch:
Centre position:
Pressed in on the upper side: pressing
Pressed in on the lower side: milling
Pull the button towards you so that throughput opening is not closed. Therefore the cereals will fall into
grinding- or flaking chamber. Now the cereals are milled or flaked.
If there are still cereals in funnel, after grinded your required quantity, just close the thoughput opening.
The grains who are still in mill should be milled.
