3.5.3 Automatic mode

To produce Pads automatically, with a previously set length
and previously set number, e.g. 10 Pads of 30 cm.
To put the machine in the stand-by mode.
>
(Remote 1) The display lamp will light.
>
(Remote 2+3) The display lamp will light.
>
Flashing: You can enter a new length now
>
(max. 3 digits).
Entered length is stored in the memory.
>
Flashing: You can enter the number of Pads
>
(max. 3 digits).
Entered number stored in the memory
>
The number of Pads entered is produced in
the entered length.
>
After using an other function or if the machine has been
switched off, you can repeat the previous automatic mode.
The corresponding light is flashing.
>
Pads are produced according to the previous
set values.
>
Would U like a longer Pad; press, while producing a pad,
the foot pedal down to produce a pad. Release the foot
pedal to cut the pad and a new Pad will be produced with
previously set length.
If, through circumstances (emergency stop is activated,
stop / reset button pushed, door open) the converter
stops (the display shows "0"). Fix the cause (release the
emergency button, close doors), press "Stop/Reset", select
"auto" mode and press" START ". Pads are produced
according to the previous set values.
3.5.4 Semi automatic mode
If in automatic mode you enter a 1 for the number of pads,
the machine will not cut off after producing the Pad. Should
the Pad still be cut, then you will have to give a pulse using
the foot switch. If you want to make the Pad longer, keep
the foot pedal pressed down longer. When releasing the
foot pedal the Pad will be cut off and subsequently a new
Pad is made at the previously set length.

3.5.5 Keypad mode

In the keypad mode you can use the numerical keys 1 to 9
(0 = Not active) to produce a Pad at a previously set length.
The converter has been preprogrammed.
To set the machine on stand-by.

The corresponding lamp lights.

Press a numerical key. The display now shows
the old length.
>
Flashing: if you like you can enter a new length

now (max. 3 digits).
Under this numerical key a set length has
been stored in the memory. (In this way you

can enter a length for each numerical key).
The corresponding lamp lights and the display
remain empty.
>
Now press a numeric key to produce a Pad.
The machine will now make the Pad (and cut)
and the display will briefly indicate the set
length.
>
Display shows code "000", remove the pad
and press a numeric key.
Would U like a longer Pad; press, while producing a pad,

mode, press "START", press a numeric key to produce a
Pad. The machine will now make the Pad (and cut) and the
display will briefly indicate the set length.
3.6

Reset the converter

The converter stops immediately when the Emergency
Stop is pressed or the door has been opened.
Reset the converter after solving the cause:
· Press "Stop/Reset"
· Select Manual/Foot mode
· Press both cut buttons simultaneous to cut the Pad
· Remove the Pad.
· Press "Stop/reset"; the converter is now stand-by
(Display shows " 0")

Turning the Converter Off

After use, the converter can be turned off by setting the
main switch to the "Off" or "0" position.
3.8

Cleaning

Any personnel can clean the exterior of the converter.
Prior to cleaning, remove the power plug from the wall
socket.
The converter can be cleaned with:
· A damp cloth
· Vacuum-cleaner.
The converter must not be cleaned with:
· Detergents
· Excessive amounts of water.
