pointed downwards. The air inlet and the
nozzle must not be covered. Only use noz-
zles that are suitable for your device.

4. Intended use

If you observe the safety rules and use
genuine accessories, this heat gun is suit-
able for all applications with hot air that are
listed in these operating instructions.
Applications
Shrinking on heat-shrinkable tubing, sol-
dering connectors and clamps, electronic
housings and electrical components.
Deforming articles made from acrylic,
PVC and polystyrene, pipes, plates and
profiles, as well as wet wood.
Welding thermoplastic polymer, floor
materials made from PVC and lino, PVC-
coated fabric, covering sheets and film.
Soldering tin, silver solder, SMD compo-
nents, cable end sleeves and loosening
soldered connectors.
Removing paint – removing old and even
thick coats of oil paint, varnish and resin
plaster.
Drying colour samples, filters, adhesives,
construction joints and unit moulds.
Bonding adhesives – sticking on large
surfaces with contact adhesives, acti-
vating pressure-sensitive adhesives,
accelerating bonding processes, loosen-
ing connection points and loosening or
bonding edges or panels.
