Failure to observe the safety
rules when carrying out work
with the heat gun can result in
fires, explosions, electric shock
or burns. Read these operating instructions
before using the tool and always observe the
safety rules. Keep these instructions in a safe
place and pass them on to persons who
have not received instructions before using
the tool.
WARNING
A damaged housing or open
device can result in a danger-
ous electric shock. Do not open
the device and do not commis-
sion the device if it is damaged. Do not drill
into the housing (e.g. to attach a name
plate). Disconnect the power cable before
carrying out any work on the device.

device if the power cable is damaged.
Always have damaged cables replaced by a
specialist. Do not wrap the cable around the
device and protect the cable from oil, heat
and sharp edges. Do not carry the device by
the cable and do not remove the plug from
the socket using the cable.

Do not carry out work in the
rain or in a damp or wet environ-
ment. This can result in a dan-
gerous electric shock. Keep the
device dry. Store the device in a dry place
when not in use. Take note of the weather
conditions. Do not carry out work in damp
sanitary facilities. Avoid body contact with
earthed cables or surfaces such as pipes, ra-
diators, stoves and refrigerators.
