1. Important safety instructions

a) If the power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, his after-sales
service or persons with a similar qualifica-
tion to prevent hazards.
b) If the device is not used with care , it could
cause a fire. You must therefore observe the
following instructions:
Take particular care when using the
device in locations with flammable
materials.
Do not point the device in the same place
for prolonged periods. (Heat build-up and
risk of fire).
Do not use the device in explosive
atmospheres.
Remember that heat can be transferred
to flammable materials that are outside
of your field of vision.
Place the device in its stand after use
and allow it to cool down before putting
it away.
Do not leave the device unsupervised in
switched-on state.

c) The device is not suitable for use by per-
sons (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental aptitude, lack of experi-
ence or inadequate specialist knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the device by a
person responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the device.
