- Screw on the bracket.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS (3).
- Firmly insert 3xLR6 alkaline batteries in the battery compartment
at the back of the detector (4).
NOTE: For your safety, the CO detector cannot be installed with-
out the battery installed.
- Secure the detector to the mounting bracket (5).
- Push the test button at the front of the unit for 2 seconds. If the
unit is ready for use, 4 beeps will sound - and the red LED will
flash.

USING YOUR CO DETECTOR

Standard mode

If no carbon monoxide is present, the green LED will flash every
45 sec. (6), indicating your detector is operational.
Alarms
If the detector detects a dangerous CO level, an alarm will sound
and the red LED will flash. This will continue so long as the danger-
ous CO level is present. The alarm will stop sounding and the unit
will automatically enter standby mode.
