The Contax 167MT has a drive mode selector that
allows you to choose three shooting modes according
to your subiect and purpose - single-frame shooting,
continuous shooting and self-timer shooting.
<S - Single-frame shooting>
Each time the Shutter Release is depressed, the camera
exooses one frame and winds the film for the next shot,
then stoos.

<C - Continuous shooting>
As long as the Shutter Release is depressed, the camera
takes pictures in succession at a rate of up to three
frames a second. lf you take your finger off the button, the
film advances to the next frame and stops. (fhe shooting
speed varies with the shutter speed and battery condition.)
<S-T - Self-tlmer shooting>
lf the Drive Mode Selector is set to
"S-T" and the Shutter
Release rs depressed, the self-timer starts and trips the
shutter after 10 seconds. While the self-timer is running,
the self-timer LED in the camera front turns on and the
Exposure Counter switches to the self{imer mode to counl
down from
"10" to "0" at '1-sec. intervals.
