Instructions for Use

The 2-piece collection system for enterostomy
or urostomy patients is made up of:
A base plate - flat or convex - with a skin
barrier and a coupling ring for attaching
the pouch;
Different types of pouches:
> Closed;
> Drainable with an integrated "Roll'Up" soft
clamp system or a drainable High Flow cap,
connectable to a remote collection pouch;
> Drainable (for urostomies) with a drainage
tab connectable to an overnight pouch.
The innovative semi-soft coupling set-up
guide increases ease of use.

Before placing the base plate
Cut the skin barrier to the size of your stoma

using the measuring guide, remaining
within the maximum possible cut-out and
always allowing 2 to 3 mm around your
stoma: it should not be strangled by the
base.

Preparing the skin
Gently clean the peristomal area with warm
water. Ether, alcohol and other antiseptics
may prevent the base from staying in place,
and should therefore be avoided.
Carefully dab dry.

Placing the base plate
Remove the protective cover.
Place the base plate around your stoma
taking care to place the 3 buttons at the top

Carefully press the skin barrier onto the skin.
4 Placing the pouch (closed & drainable)
Check that the outlet of uro pouches is closed.
Separate the internal sides of the pouch by
creasing them lightly to allow some air in;
Hold the pouch by its side wings
Insert the guiding tab, (situated at the
bottom of the pouch's coupling ring) into
one of the slots at the bottom of the base
ring (depending on which way up you want
to use the product)
Starting at the bottom of the rings, interlock
the two rings by pressing them together
progressing from bottom to top
over the entire cir cum ference
possible to place the thumbs under the base
plate ring to obtain a better grip and so
avoid pressing against the abdomen; this
must be done gently to avoid accidently
perforating the film under the base's

Finalise the coupling of the two rings.
Clip the pouch's upper tab on the
corresponding base button

Unclip the pouch's upper tab
