Transmission radiation takes place within the milliwatt range for just a few milliseconds when
the transmitter is activated and is not dangerous to health.
REV Ritter GmbH hereby declares that the models 14949 and 04444R2 is in accordance
with the underlying requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 1999/EC. For the com-

3. Battery operation

Remove the cover from the battery compartments ➀ + ➁ and insert the specified batteries – pay
attention to correct polarity (+/-).
Safety instructions for batteries
• Inserting the batteries the wrong way round (incorrect +/- polarity) can damage/destroy the
appliance
• Do not store batteries within the reach of children. This applies in particular to batteries that could
be swallowed
• Seek immediate medical help for affected person in the event of a battery being swallowed
• Do not attempt to revive batteries by heating up or similar measures. Primary batteries may not
be recharged as this can result in electrolyte leakage, fire and explosions
• Do not immerse batteries in water and do not store in a damp place. Always store in a dry and
cool place
• Do not throw batteries into fire. Do not attempt to open, solder or weld
• Do not short-circuit batteries
Please dispose of batteries in compliance with legal requirements (see section no. 13).
4. Coding
The transmitter  and receiver  must be assigned the same code first before you can operate
the receiver  by remote control. 16 different coding possibilities are available to ensure that the
receiver reacts without fail to the transmitter's signals. Open the cover of the battery compartment
on the transmitter ➁ and turn the switch ➂ to a position between 1 and 16 chosen by you. You must
turn the switch ➂ in the battery compartment of receiver  to the same position.
