SETTING UP AND USE
The machine is delivered ready to use, the only
operation necessary is the insertion of the mill into the
gripper. Best quality mills should be used (hard metal
mills are particularly recommended). Guide the router
with
both
hands
handgrip and knob on base).During use, make sure
that the power supply cable does not impede working
operations or come into contact with the tool.
Small work pieces should be securely clamped in
order that they remain in position during working
operations (for example: fix in position with
clamp).
DIRECTION OF PROGRESS.
The router progress direction should always be as
shown in fig.3a.

USING THE MACHINE AS A TRIMMER.
For
trimming
a
surface
trimming the surface edge:- Adjust the desired milling
height. - Adjust the height of the support.- Regulate the
distance from the roller to the rim.- Lean on the working
surface.- Advance with the trimmer.It is advised to
carry out preliminary tests before starting work.
USING THE MACHINE AS PANTOGRAPH.
It is possible to utilize the trimmer as a normal
pantograph by adopting the pantograph kit, supplied
with the machine.- Loosen the screws 8 and remove
the extraction duct (fig. 4)- Insert the pantograph
bushing 9 in the housing and secure in place with the
screw 10- Insert the bushing 11 and secure it in the
housing with the dowel 12.Refit the conveyor-protective
screen, then: screw the screen countersunk head
screws through the lower holes on the base into the
predisposed screw nuts on the protective screen.
IMPROPER USE.
The functions and use of this tool are those exclusively
indicated in this manual.Any other use of the tool is
explicitly forbidden!Do not use the trimmer as a
milling motor without the protective devices, an
unprotected hard metal mill rotates at a speed of
24000 r.p.m. and can be extremely dangerous.
Never operate the trimmer without the previously
described accessories, as this is also extremely
dangerous. Under these conditions you will be
working totally unprotected!

MAINTENANCE

Regular
inspection
maintenance operations and will keep your tool in
good
working condition. The
gears
are
life-long lubricated. The motor must be
correctly ventilated during tool operation. For this
reason avoid blocking the air inlets with hands. After
use disconnect the tool from the power supply and
clean carefully.

DISPOSAL
At the end of the machine's working life, or when it can
no longer be repaired, ensure that it is disposed of
according to the standard regulations of the country in
which it is being used, and that the disposal operation
is carried out by specialized personnel following
authorized guidelines.In all circumstances:
- Do not abandon in the environment;
- Do not dispose of together with solid urba waste
products;

PARTS REPLACEMENT
Attention! Disconnect the plug from the power
supply socket before replacing any parts.
BRUSHES
The brushes must be replaced after approx. 150-200
working hours, or if they are less then 5-6 mm in
length.

Attention! For correct tool operation always change
the brushes in pairs, not separately. The use of
original Felisatti spare parts is recommended.
In order to gain access to the brushes, disassemble the
body motor guard B by
screws A, then remove the brushes E from their seats
and replace them (fig.6).
Attention! This
performed by an authorized service center.
ATTENTION: After fitting new brushes allow the
motor to run idle for 5 minutes.
REPLACING THE POWER SUPPLY CABLE
Check that the power supply cable is in good condition,
if not have it replaced by an authorized service center.
FITTING THE GRIPPER.
- Position gripper 13 onto lock nut 14 as in fig. 5,
making sure that the gripper is securely fastened
to the lock nut.- Fit the gripper and lock nut over
the gripper shaft, as shown in fig. 1. Make sure
that the lock nut is not holding the gripper too tight
(or the cutter will be unable to move into position).
REMOVING THE GRIPPER.
Loosen the lock nut using the special spanner
provided. Make sure that the gripper remains secured
to the lock nut

completely free of the gripper shaft. ATTENTION! -
The lock nut has a collar which enables to be held in

position for fitting and removal to and from the gripper
shaft (see fig. 5 )
