SAFETY STANDARDS
• The tool has been designed and constructed to
permit operation in all situations and in absolute
safety. In particular working conditions remember to
use protective gloves and safety goggles.
• The tool has been designed and constructed to
reduce noise to minimum levels. (See technical data
2.1).In particular working conditions the maximum
sound level at the place of work may exceed 85 dBA.
In this case the operator must use ear protectors.
Work carefully and maintain the tool in perfect
working order, for your own safety.
SWITCH
• The switch fitted on the trimmer prevents accidental
machine starting. However, a locking position has
also been provided: see point 4.3.Starting - Press the
switch key.
PROTECTIVE SCREEN.
• The machine is equipped with a conveyor protective
screen,
which must be used during working
operations.
This device must be used during working operations.
Assembly: Screw the screen countersunk head
screws through the lower holes on the base into the
predisposed screw nuts on the protective screen.
• SHAVINGS SUCTION UNIT
The protective screen, described in point 2.4.2,
allows shavings to be suction extracted.
This device must be used during working operations.
To carry out this operation, connect a suction unit
pipe to the protective screen union.

SPECIFIC SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS
Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces,
because the cutter may contact its own cord. Cutting a
"live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the power
tool "live" and shock the operator.
Use clamps or another practical way to secure and
support the workpiece to a stable platform. Holding the
work by your hand or against the body leaves it
unstable and may lead to loss of control.
INSTALACION
PACKAGING
This tool is sold complete with accessories and the
user's manual, contained in a cardboard box (or in a
metal case) of suitable size and thickness for the work
that the tool is intended for. This container should be
kept as it will prove useful for your work.

INSTALLATION

The environmental conditions, temperature, humidity,

lighting, the correct dislocation of your tool and the
cleanliness of the place of work are important
conditions for personal safety and tool performance.
These factors should always be kept under control in
order to improve working conditions and ensure safety.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Before connecting the tool to the mains make sure that
it complies with the standard regulations of the country
in question, and that the voltage and frequency
correspond to the details on the data plate.When using
extension leads, make sure that cable cross-section
conforms to the length of the lead. When using a wind-
up extension make sure that is completely unwound so
as to avoid overheating.
ATTENTION!
The switch on this tool is fitted with a locking device,
allowing the tool to be operated for long periods of time
without interruptions. Before inserting the plug into the
socket, check that the switch is in the unlocked
position. When the tool is not to be used for long
periods remember to leave the switch device in the
unlocked position.
PLACE OF WORK
The tool that you have purchased is a portable electric
power tool. Only one user should operate this tool,
given its shape, weight and maneuverability.Normal
use requires that both of the operator's hands are
firmly kept on the two handgrips.
Caution! Keep both hands well away from the mill.
REGULATION
The tool is already regulated according to standard
parameters by the constructor when supplied.
MICRO-METRIC ADJUSTMENT OF BASE HEIGHT.
- Unscrew knob 2 (fig. 2).
- Regulate the depth, adjusting knurled ring nut 3
in reference to graduated scale 4, bearing in mind that
each line represents 2.5 mm.
- Re-tighten knob 2.
ADJUSTING HEIGHT OF THE SUPPORT FEET.
- Unscrew knob 5 (fig. 3).
- Adjust the depth, in reference to the scale.
- Re-tighten knob 5.
HORIZONTAL ADJUSTMENT OF THE SUPPORT
ROLLER.
- Unscrew knob 6 (fig. 4).
- Adjust knurled screw 7 until the required position
is obtained.
- Re-tighten knob 6.
OPERATION AND USE
This trimmer is particularly suited for finishing and
shaping work on a variety of materials ( wood,
masonite, plastic laminates, etc.) or for manual rough
finishing. It can also be used as pantograph, using the
support.
