Recording from the radio

 Use the function switch to select the radio operating mode and tune in the station
you require.
 When you have inserted a cassette press down R E C O R D  + P L AY (togeth-
er).
 To stop the recording press PA U S E  or S T O P / E J .

 Play a CD up to the point from which you want to record and then press the R E -
C O R D  + P L AY buttons.

NOTICE!
You will achieve a smoother start to the recording if you press the cassette
R E C O R D  + P L AY  buttons and PA U S E  first and then release
the PA U S E button to start the recording.
The machine is fitted with an erase prevention mechanism to prevent acci-
dental deletion of recordings. If the plastic tabs on the rear of the cassette
(erase prevention mechanism) are removed, the Record button cannot be
pressed when the cassette is inserted.
