3. Preparing for use

3.1 The components of your Auping
Boxspring
- Auping Boxspring.
- Electric motor with handset and
control box.
- Legs.

3.2 Installing the electric motor

1. Insert the plug of the back motor
(No. 151723) into connection point
No. 1 on the control box.
2. Insert the plug of the handset in
connection point No. 2 on the
control box.
3. Insert the plug of the control box in
the mains wall socket.
4. Adjust the connected motor to its
furthest position by taking hold of
the piston and simultaneously
pressing the 'down' button.
5.Install the motor for the back section
(see fig. 3).
Take care that it is fitted in the
(foot)
correct position (see drawing). The
type plate bearing number 151723
should be visible after installation.
6. Secure the motor using the thick
pins and split pins.
7. Remove the frame connectors secu-
ring the subframe to the upper frame.
8. Secure the cables by fastening the
cable clamp on the control box (see
fig. 4).
9. Slide the control box onto the motor
for the back section.
Take care not to trap the cables
(see fig. 5).
