Cleaning
Clean the visor with plenty of water without additives. Do not treat with solvents or
household cleaners. Use lint-free cloth for cleaning. Just shake the visor, dab it if
necessary and let it air dry. An „anti-fog" coating is applied to the inside of all ski
helmet visors. It is scratch-sensitive. So please handle with care and never wipe the
inside. Simply shake out any snow that has got in. Store the visor in a dry and dark
location and avoid extreme temperatures above 50°C.
Maintenance
Before every use and after a fall, the visor should be checked for possible damage
to the visor, visor attachment and nose pad and replaced if appropriate. Visors must
be replaced if their intended use can no longer be guaranteed due to contamination
or wear and tear. For safety reasons, please replace your helmet visor every 3 years
after using it for the first time.
Mirror coating
A high-quality mirror coating is applied to the outside of some visors, which
guarantees additional IR absorption and improved contrast detection. This
high-quality visor coating is scratch-sensitive and therefore requires special care
during cleaning and storage. Scratches in the mirror coating are excluded from the
warranty.
