Disassembly
Holding the visor (1) on one side, carefully pull it forward to remove it from the base
plate (2). Then repeat the procedure on the opposite side.
Assembly
First, position the visor (1) between the inner and outer shell on one side of the
helmet and then carefully slide it in until an audible CLICK can be heard. Ensure the
contour of the visor is positioned to fit the cylinder of the base plate (2).
Repeat the procedure on the other side.
The visor is intended for use with uvex ski helmets and is in compliance with EN
174:2001 and EU Directive 89/686.
It provides protection from UV, wind and precipitation (snow, rain). The filter
category is specified on the visor. An „anti-fog" coating is applied to the inside of all
ski helmet visors. In the event of an impact against hard or sharp objects, however, it
can provide only limited protection.
No visor can protect the wearer from all possible risks.
