ASSEMBLING THE MACHINE AND INITIAL STARTING UP
IMPORTANT! Do not place the machine on the table, as the table is not designed for supporting the weight of the ma-
chine.
1. Two persons are required for taking the saw out of the packaging using the two carrying tubes. Before assembly, check
all the parts to make sure none of them has been damaged in transport. Any damage that is found is to be reported im-
mediately to your reseller. Check that the delivery is complete.
2. Tilt back the body of the machine as shown in the photographs in Fig. 4 opposite, in order to put the saw legs in the
working position more easily.
3. To do so, loosen the four locking screws (A) Fig. 3 so as to be able to move the legs (B) Fig. 5.
4. Put the saw body in the vertical position.
USE IN CIRCULAR MODE
IMPORTANT! Risk of crushing!
While turning the saw table, there is a risk of crushing!
Do not put your hands between the saw table and the sides.
Always hold the table while it is being turned so that it does not turn suddenly.
Make sure the saw is secured properly to avoid accidental movements.
Before using your machine, make sure it is stable, with no risk of slipping. Make sure there is enough space around the
machine for safe use.
Read the manual carefully and follow the safety instructions. Before putting the machine into operation, make sure that
all the covers and guards are in place.
Check the working of the saw blade.
Remove all workpieces from the saw table.
Press the switch briefly and release it, to check that the saw blade is turning in the direction of the arrow on the blade.
If the material is already machined, be mindful of the presence of foreign bodies.
1. In order to be able to use the saw in circular table saw mode, you need to position the riving knife. To do so, the saw
must be in the mitre saw position.
2. Turn the saw table. Press the locking system (C) Fig. 7, in order to release the table and turn it. At the end of the turn,
the table must click into the locked position.
3. Raise the saw head to the high position. To do so, push the saw head slightly and pull the small round-headed lever (D)
Fig. 8, then give it a quarter turn and let the pins (E) Fig. 9 re-engage.
4. Then loosen the wing screw (F) Fig. 10 used for fastening the riving knife (G). The fastening cylinder (H) of the riving
knife has two grooves, thus providing two adjustment possibilities. Lift the guard (I) Fig. 11 and position the knife as
shown in Fig. 12. Tighten the wing screw (F) Fig. 10.
IMPORTANT! Make sure the riving knife is sufficiently far away from the saw blade as shown in Fig. 13.
5. Push down the saw head by pulling the head release button and lowering the head until the release button is locked
again; see Fig. 14.
6. Turn the depth adjustment lever (J) Fig. 14 fully anticlockwise so that the saw head moves down completely.
7. Now you can turn the saw table by pressing the lever (K) Fig. 15 until it clicks into place.
8. Fit the blade guard upon the riving knife. Press the button located on the blade guard to secure it to the riving knife. If
you do not have an extraction system, secure the dust bag supplied to the chip removal nozzle (M) Fig.17 located below
the saw table.
9. Assemble the mitre fence and the rip fence as illustrated in Fig. 17.
You can now use your circular saw.
