7. Connect your mitre saw to a dust collecting device (diameter Ø 32 mm) while sawing.
8. Select saw blades that are appropriate for the material to be cut.
9. Check the maximum cutting depth.
10. While sawing long pieces, always use side extensions and clamps or other securing devices to hold the workpiece
adequately.
11. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment if needed, including:
- ear protection to reduce the risk of damaging your hearing;
- safety goggles;

17. Remove any nails from the workpiece in order to avoid sparks, which could lead to fires.
18. To avoid fires or toxic reactions, never use petrol, acetone or any other similar solvent to clean the saw.
19. Set the saw on the table using appropriate pads to reduce the noise and vibrations from the machine.
20. Always carry the saw by its carry handle.
WARNING!
• Make sure that the arm is correctly locked while making mitre cuts.
• Keep the working area clean and free of debris or cutting scrap around the machine. Use blades that are properly shar-

• When replacing the laser, make sure not to use a different type of laser. Repairs may only be made by the laser manu-
facturer or another authorised party.
• Do not remove debris or scrap from the cutting area while the machine is operating and when the saw head is down.
