The following instructions must be read in conjunction with:
1. Standard NF EN 60 204-1 (safety of machinery)
2. Standard NF C 15 100 (French regulations concerning electrical installations)
3. Standard NF EN 60 079-14 (electrical installations in gaseous explosive
atmospheres)
4. Standard NF EN 60 079-17 (inspection and maintenance for dangerous sites)
5. French decrees, orders, laws, directives, application circulars, standards,
trade practices, and all other documents concerning the installation site.

Our equipment bears CE marking under the terms of ATEX directive 94/9/CE.
It is designed to be used in gaseous explosive atmospheres: group IIA or IIB –
category 2G – areas 1 and 2.
The IP 65 version can be used in the presence of combustible dusts: group IIA or
IIB – category 2GD – areas 21 and 22.
Make sure that the information shown on the manufacturer's plate is compatible
with the explosive atmosphere in question, the area it is to be used in, and
ambient and surface temperatures. Equipment must be installed by qualified,
competent and empowered personnel.
All the accessories and/or components with which the equipment can be fitted
must have standard CE inspection certificates.
