Getting Started

• Insert eSATA plug into your eSATA port. If your eSATA port is
powered then simple connection to the port will be suffi cient for

use.

• If your eSATA port is not powered, you will be required to use the
provided eSATA/USB cable. Firstly, attach the eSATA plug on your
device to the eSATA socket on the cable; then insert the eSATA
plug into the appropriate port on your PC or laptop, followed by
the USB plug.
Note: eSATA connection should be made prior to USB connection.
• In the case that you do not have an eSATA port, you can use the
USB plug to connect it to a USB port; however you can expect
slower transfer speeds.
EasyLock™ Software
EasyLock™ software is included on the eSATA/USB Combo
SSD.
software remains always on your portable storage device.
