5.1. Brief description

The DA 6000-N is menu driven utilizing 4 buttons. The current menu position is shown on the Menu display.
Button Function
Parameter Selection: steps through the Menu or aborts a parameter change without mak-

ing the change.
A short description of the possible parameter values appears in the Menu display.
The actual value of the parameter can be seen on Main display.
The first step in the menu is
Decreases the current parameter value (when possible). The values change more quickly
as the button is pressed a longer time.
Increases the current parameter value (when possible). The values change more quickly
as the button is pressed a longer time.
In the first step of the menu (
function does not have a timer and must be switched OFF by pressing the button again.
When ON the Status Display pilot light (LED) above the button is illuminated.
(Note: It's possible that with some older Pyrometers these function not works correct. Is in
this case the pilot light different to the status display, the DA 6000-N has to be reset with
disconnecting the power supply)
Enters the value that was set. Press the Enter button, after changing a parameter value to
adopt the change.
ENT
The Enter function is ready to accept the change when the Status display (LED) above the
Enter button is illuminated. As soon as a parameter has been changed and it is the possi-
ble to adopt the change, the LED will begin flashing.
If the LED does not illuminate, then a jumper blocks this function across terminals 6 and 7
on the rear panel.
Pressing the enter button without having changed a parameter value resets the display
directly to the first step in the menu.
