1. Set the daylight bulb on a stable surface, such as a table, and stabilize by using the folding tripod.
2. Plug the power cord into the socket and press the on-off switch at the top of the lamp.
3. After use, press the on-off switch at the top of the lamp, then unplug the power cord from the socket.
4. Connect the unit only to the mains voltage listed on the type plate.
Fastening of Daylight on the wall
There is a mounting hole on the back side of the appliance. At this mounting hole the appliance can be fixed on
the wall with screw. Depending on the type of wall, an appropriate screw must be used, may be with pegs. E.g.
for concrete wall, M4, 25mm long Stainless Steel Self-Tapping Screw which is screwed into a anchor. The screw
and the anchor are not included in the scope of delivery. If the mounting hole or back enclosure is cracked or
damaged. Do not fix the appliance on the wall. Please contact customer service or the dealer for assistance.
Getting Started
• Press the ON/OFF button of the appliance to switch on the light.
• Sit at a distance of 20 to 50cm (from the face) from the lamp. During this time, you are free to do everyday
activities like reading, writing and making phone calls.
• Look directly into the light intermittently, for short periods of time.
• Do not look directly into the light for the entire period of use. This could overstimulate the retina.
• Start with a shorter exposure time, and gradually increase over a week.
Note: The first applications could cause eyestrain and headaches, however these will lessen over subsequent sessi-
ons as the nervous system adapts to the new stimuli. In this case abort the use and reduce the usage time thereafter.
Do not touch the appliance in the duration. Let the appliance cool down for at least 10 minutes before reposition it.
Usage times:
• The recommended distance is between 20 and 50cm from the lamp.
• At 20cm distance, the lamp can be used for up to 0,5 hour.
• At 40cm distance, the lamp can be used for up to 1 hour.
• At 60cm distance, the lamp can be used for up to 2 hours.
• Basically - the closer you are to the lamp, the shorter the duration of use will be.
Length of use
Repeat use during low-light seasons/low light conditions for at least 7 days consecutively. You made require
longer than 7 days, depending on individual needs. Ideally, the lamp should be used in the morning.
Cleaning and Care
Before cleaning, the lamp must be switched off and given time to cool down. To clean, use a damp cloth
and some detergent if necessary. Pay particular attention that no water penetrates into the interior of
the lamp. Do not use harsh cleaning agents and never put the lamp into water. The lamp cannot be
cleaned in a dishwasher. Once connected, do not touch the lamp with wet hands or expose to water in any way. The
lamp must be dry when used.
