5 Formation of average values
To make an average of several moisture measurements or to count the number of measurements, proceed as
follows:
Perform the first measurement.

As soon as the measured value on the display is stable, briefly press the 4 [Summing] key. The displayed

measured value is written into the memory. The display shows the number of measurements already
stored in the memory for 2 seconds. Then the unit returns to the automatic display of the humidity.
Repeat the process as often as you want with different measurements in the bale or measurements from

several bales.
6 Retrieving the average value
To display the average of stored measurements, do the following:
Press and hold down the 4 [Summing] key for approx. 4 seconds.

The display shows the average moisture value from all stored measured values. This value flashes

alternately with the number of stored measured values.
To return to the current display, briefly press the 2 [Humidity] key.

The accumulator is not deleted.

7 Deleting the total memory
To clear the total memory, turn off the device manually and then turn it on again. When the unit is switched off
automatically, the total memory is not deleted.
8 Display of the battery voltage
To display the battery voltage, briefly press the 3 [Power off] button. The display shows the battery voltage in
volts for approx. 3 seconds. Then, the unit automatically returns to the running display mode.

Acoustic warning

An audible signal will sound when the humidity exceeds the set limit. To set the limit value (between 12 and
50%) proceed as follows:
Press and hold the 2 [Humidity] button for approx. 4 seconds. The set value is displayed.

The limit value is increased by one percentage point with a short pushbutton on the button 2 [Humidity].

After the value 50, the value 12 follows again.

After approx. 5 seconds without pushing the button, the setting is saved and the device returns to the

original mode.
10 Switch off
The device switches off automatically after 2 minutes without key actuation and without moisture measurement
above 12%.
To manually switch off the unit, press and hold down 3 [OFF] for approx. 3 seconds. The accumulator is also
deleted when you manually switch off.
