connecting cable.

If the cables need to be lain over walls with
sharp edges, for example metal walls, use
empty tubes or cable ducts to prevent dam-
age to the cables. Lay electrical cables in a
way so that it is not possible to stumble over
them and damage is prevented.

Never place the device over or close to the
battery to be charged. Gases from the battery
make the charger corrode and damage it. Set
up the charger as far away from the battery
as the direct current cable allows you to.

Do not cover the device while charging.

Never use the cable to carry the device or to
pull it. Damaged cables increase the risk of
an electrical shock.

Only operate the device if all cables and the
casing are intact.

If supplied cables are damaged, they must be
replaced by qualified specialists to prevent
hazards.

Never operate the device if it fell down or
was damaged any other way. For inspection
and repair, take it to a qualified electrician.

All maintenance work must be conducted by
qualified electricians.

Never disassemble the device. False assembly
may lead to electrical shock or fire.

Never short circuit the device or connect the
inlets and outlets of the device by using met-
al objects. Only use the supplied connecting
cables to connect the device to a battery.

If an extension cable is used, the cable diame-
ter must be sufficient for the power required
for the power used by the device.

Check the input voltage (200 - 240 V AC)
and ensure that it corresponds with the grid
voltage. Otherwise the function of the
device may impeded.

Always assure yourself that the device is not
connected to alternative current when you
connect it to a battery and disconnect it.

Always connect the positive charger clamp
(red) to the positive pole (not connected with
the body of the car, marked with P or +).

Then connect the negative charger clamp

(black) to the car body, away from the bat-
tery casing of the car, away from the battery
and the fuel line. Then, the charger can be
connected to an adequate power socket.

After charging, disconnect the charging
device from the power first. Then, in this
sequence, disconnect the connection on the
car body first (-), and then the battery con-
nection (+).

Do not look at the battery when connecting
the charger to power.

Never try to charge damaged,
non-rechargeable or frozen batteries.

This charger is only adequate for the listed
batteries (maintenance-free, closed, lead-
acid-batteries (SLA) or gel batteries and may
not be used to charge non rechargeable,
NiCd or other types of batteries. Do not use
it for any other purposes.

Do not use the charger to charge dry cell
batteries. These may explode and injure peo-
ple and cause material damage of property.

Do not use the device as a power supply for
an electrical low voltage system.

Ensure that you have read and understood
the instruction manual and all safety instruc-
tions that were supplied with the battery to
be charged or the vehicle.

Avoid any contact with caustic battery acid.
If your face comes into contact with battery
acid, rinse it thoroughly under running water
and contact your physician. Should your eyes
come into contact with battery acid, rinse
your eyes under running water for at least
five minutes and contact your physician.

Always pay attention to the right polarity if
you connect the device to a battery.

This charger was not designed to supply RV´s
with power.

This charger was not designed to be installed
as accessory in the vehicle.

The battery connection that is not connected
with the car body must be connected first.
The other connection is done with the car
body, away from the battery and the fuel
line. Then, the charger is connected to power
