10. Discontinuing use

To deactivate the domestic water supply, simply unplug the mains plug from the mains socket.
However, if the domestic water supply must be disconnected from the hoses (for example for cleaning, maintenance
or winter storage), proceed as follows:
• First disconnect the domestic water supply from the power supply, unplug the power plug from the mains socket.
• Open the tap on the pressure side so that the existing water pressure can be drained.
Caution!
If this is not observed, water can leak under high pressure. This could cause injury (for example, if the water
jet hits the eye). Wear eye protection.
• Disconnect the hoses from the domestic water supply.
This may result in a lot of water, especially from the hose, which is connected to the pressure side. Keep
enough empty buckets ready. The pump also runs out of water.
Think of emptying the hoses installed outdoor in order to avoid frost damages; open possibly mounted
water taps.
• Make sure the pressure gauge does not show the pressure.
• Let residual water run out of the pump of the domestic water
supply. To do this, open the drain opening (7) behind the
manometer.
• Close the drain opening again after the residual water has
drained.
• Dry the domestic water supply and the power cord. Then
wind up the power cord.
• Turn the plastic covers into the suction and drain openings.
• Hibernate the domestic water supply in a frost-proof and dry
room, which is inaccessible to children.
Carry or transport the domestic water supply only via the pressure vessel. Never carry it using the hose
or the mains cord. In addition, do not carry/transport the domestic water supply via the pump, as this can
damage the connection between the pump and the pressure vessel.
