The mains plug may be plugged into the mains socket only when it is dry. Otherwise there is a risk of a fatal
electrical shock!
• The domestic water supply now starts to work. During the initial set up, the suction process may take some time
until there is sufficient pressure on the pressure side so that the pressure switch deactivates the pump.
• To allow air to leak, briefly open a tap on the pressure side if necessary, then close it again.
Caution!
Allow the pump to work against the closed pressure side for a maximum of 10 minutes during the suction
process. Otherwise, the water in the pump can heat up excessively. If this water comes out of the pump,
there is a risk of injury/scalding! In addition, the pump and vessel can be damaged.
If you have placed a shut-off ball valve in the suction line, it must never be closed during the operation of
the domestic water supply.
If the pump does not suck in water, disconnect the domestic water supply from the mains voltage, unplug
the mains plug out of the mains socket. Open the tap on the pressure side to release any overpressure.
Then refill the suction hose and the pump until the water overflows. Subsequently, as described above, a
new suction process can be started.
• If the water has been sucked in correctly, close the tap on the pressure side.
• After closing the tap on the pressure side, the pump of the domestic water supply continues to run for some time
until sufficient pressure is built up again. Thereafter, the pressure switch automatically shuts off the pump. The
manometer (6) shows the water pressure present on the pressure side.
In the pressure vessel is a rubber bellows, on which the pressure is built up. As a result, not only does the
automatic control of the pump of the domestic water system take place, but small amounts of water can
also be withdrawn without the pump starts.
Important!
If there is a leak on the pressure side (leaking hose connection or similar), water is continuously pumped
in principle. This could lead to serious water damage.
• The domestic water supply is now ready for operation.
If a pressure drop occurs when a tap on the pressure side is opened, the pressure switch activates the pump of the
domestic water supply and water is automatically pumped.
If the tap is closed again, then the pump of the domestic water supply continues to run for some time until sufficient
pressure is built up again. Thereafter, the pressure switch automatically shuts off the pump.
As already described above, small amounts of water can be withdrawn through the pressure vessel without the
pump starts.
