Automatically Store Radio Stations
Rather than manually storing stations, you can also let the unit
automatically store found stations:
• Press and hold / button to do auto scanning for the broadcasting
radio channels, press it again to stop auto scanning.
RDS (Radio Data System)
This product is equipped with an RDS decoder. RDS allows text information
to be transmitted by a radio station together with the audio broadcast. This
text information can include name of the radio station, name of the current
program or song, news headlines, etc. and may vary from station to station.
To view RDS info press the INFO button repeatedly.
DAB Operation
Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) is a way of broadcasting radio digitally
through a network of transmitter. It provides you with more choice, better
sound quality and more information.
Press [SOURCE] button repeatedly to select the DAB source, in DAB mode,
press [MENU] button and the display will show "FULL SCAN", press
to confi rm operation.
Then press TUNING or
press / to confi rm operation.
• [Full scan]: scan and store all the available DAB radio stations.
• [Manual tune]: tune to a DAB station manually.
• [DRC]: select (dynamic range control) DRC /off .
• [Prune]: remove all the invalid stations from the station list.
• [System]: adjust system settings,for details please refer to the FM system.

Manually Store Radio Stations FOR DAB
This unit enables you to store up to 20 radio stations:
1. Tune to a radio station which you would like to store.
2. Press and hold for 2 seconds the /
Preset Store.
3. Select a desired preset (1 - 20) on which you want to store the current
frequency by pressing the TUNING
4. Press the / button to confi rm your setting. "STORED" will be
shown in the display.
5. To recall a stored frequency, press
the desired preset. Alternatively you can press the /
the desired preset using the TUNING
selected preset by pressing the /
Info Display
To display information (if broadcast by station) repeatedly press the INFO
buton on the unit.

Troubleshooting

BEFORE RESORTING TO MAINTENANCE SERVICE, PLEASE
KINDLY CHECK BY YOURSELF WITH THE FOLLOWING CHART.
No Power
Reason
• The AC adaptor is not connected to the power supply or is not connec-
ted to a power supply securely.
Solution
• Please check that the AC adaptor is connected securely.
No Sound (There is no sound or the sound is distorted.)
Reason
• The earphone cables connected securely.
• The volume is set to the minimum level.
• The sound is switched off .

Solution
• Pull out the earphone cables from the earphone socket on the unit.
• Turn up the volume.
The buttons on the unit doesn't work.
Reason
• The unit is being interfered with static electricity etc.
Solution
• Switch off and unplug the unit.
• Then connect the plug to the power supply and switch it on again.
