5. Cleaning and care
5.1 Cleaning
WARNING:
Danger of electrocution! Do not immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids. Do not hold the appliance under running water.
1. Prior to every cleaning, remove the mains plug (6) from the mains socket and allow
the appliance to cool down completely.
2. Never use solvents or abrasives.
3. Clean the appliance casing and base unit (7) using a slightly damp cloth. Afterwards
dry the base unit (7) and appliance casing.
4. Wipe down the inside of the water tank (10) using a slightly damp cloth.
5.2 Cleaning the filter
WARNING:
Danger of burns! Always allow the
appliance to cool down completely prior to
removing the filer.
1. Open the lid (1). The filer (12) is located by the
spout (11).
2. Remove the filter (12) by pressing it downwards, as
shown in the illustration.
3. Clean the water filter using a soft brush under
running water.
4. Replace the filter (11), by placing it into the bottom
filter holder and pushing it towards the spout (11)
until it locks in place.
