2. Important safety instructions
2.4 Installation location
1. Only use the appliance in dry rooms, never outdoors.
2. Do not place the appliance on the stove (Gas-, electric-, coal-stoves etc.).
3. Keep the appliance away from heat sources such as heaters.
4. Do not operate the appliance near combustible or flammable places or materials.
5. Place the appliance on a horizontal, dry and sturdy surface.
NOTE:
To avoid steam damage, place the appliance with the spout away from walls
and cupboards.
When using the appliance on wooden furniture, use a coaster to protect the
wood from damages.
2.5 Intended use
1. This appliance is to be used exclusively for the boiling of fresh, cold drinking water.
Do not us it to boil any other liquids and do not add any ingredients to water, such as
sugar or salt.
2. The appliance is equipped with a filter, which retains limescale deposits when
pouring. It is not recommended to use the appliance without its filter.
3. Only use the appliance as shown in this instruction manual. Any other use can
damage the appliance and cause injuries.
