3.2 Care and Storage

Store the infrared thermometer in its box after use. Keep the unit dry
and do not expose it to direct sunlight. Remove the battery if the unit
will not be used for a long time.
Use a soft cloth to clean the case. A slightly moistened cloth and mild
detergent may be used if necessary. Do not damage the probe lens.
Ensure that no liquid gets into the unit.
3.3 Disposal
Dispose of your old electrical unit in an environmentally
acceptable manner when it has reached the end of its
service life! Packaging is re-usable or may be recycled;
metal parts must be disposed of as scrap metal; plastics,
electrical and electronic components must be disposed of as electro-
scrap.
Please remove the battery before disposing of the equipment. Do not
dispose of old batteries with your household waste, but dispose of
them at a battery collection station at a recycling site or in a shop.
Consult your municipal authority or your dealer for information
about disposal.
