2.1 Scope of Supply

2.2 Unpacking

Packaging is re-usable or may be recycled. Please dispose of
unwanted packaging material in the proper manner. Please contact
your dealer immediately if you notice any transport damage on
unpacking the unit. Keep plastic film used in packaging away from
children.
Risk of suffocation!

2.3 Prior to Use

First of all open the battery compartment and remove the battery
insulation strip. Measurements may be taken in °C or °F as desired.
Press and hold the MEASURE button when switching on the
thermometer and press the ON/OFF/MEM button once. The unit on
the display will change (e.g. from °C to °F). Repeat the procedure to
change the measuring unit back again.

2.4 Operation

Press the ON/OFF/MEM button. All the digits on the display show
up for one second by way of a test. The infrared thermometer then
switches to ready mode and the temperature last measured appears
on the display. It is now possible to call up the last 10 measuring
results stored by repeatedly pressing the MEASURE button. It is pos-
sible by pressing the ON/OFF/MEM button to alternate between
memory call up mode „
